Designing Financial Work Environments for Agility and Connection

HSBC, one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organisations, engaged Dwp Interics through design consultancy to transition from a traditional office model to a more open, collaborative setting.

The aim was to make the workspace agile, flexible, and in tune with how people now connect and work.

The design promotes interaction through strategically placed breakout zones and meeting areas that link teams horizontally and vertically.

Bright materials and open sightlines create visual transparency, while quieter areas maintain focus and privacy.

It is an environment built for collaboration, efficiency, and modern banking culture - a balance of structure and human connection.
